The Express Edition of C64 Forever is a feature-limited free version that can be upgraded (registered) to the Plus Edition functionality. This enables additional features and helps support our development and preservation work.

Exclusive Plus Edition features include:

• Support for multiple simultaneous playback windows
• Fullscreen mode options
• Disk change commit/undo and saved states
• Autostart PC into emulation
• Build Image tool to create personalized CD ISO images or runtime environments

C64 Forever Express Edition displays registration prompts at startup and on exit.

If you already installed the Express Edition, it can be upgraded to the Plus Edition functionality without requiring a new installation. Simply select Register License... from the Help/About menu, and enter the license key.
